he looks grumpy. lol. he looks exactly like my Jcp. except mine has more of a yellow contrast to him. he also looks about the same age. have u tried to handle him/her yet. vgl

ssp. means sub-species. Usually when it's listed like that it means the sup-species name is the same as the species name or they don't know what the sub-species is. In this case it would be listed like Morelia Spilota ssp. A Coastal would be Morelia Spilota Mcdowelli and a jungle would be Morelia Spilota Cheynei. That one there could be a jungle but I've also seen Coastals that had colors like that and I have a Coastal now thats real close to that except with a semi-stripe running down it's body.

ya i am not very good with the scientific names of snakes. i have yet to uncover that chapter in my book. but ty for explaining it.
