Keywords: 7 month old male ambilobe

Here is my male ambilobe at 7 months old in his relaxed colors. He is a captive bred blue bar ambilobe from Jim at Amazing Blue Reptiles. Not to mention this is the same animal that when I posted pictures of him when younger people said he looked more like an ambanja. I would have to say that isnt the case anymore now that he has grown into his ambilobe colors.

He could be a hybrid. Still a good looker though.

No I can tell you with confidence that he is deffinatly pure ambilobe. Not only was he sold to me as a cb blue bar ambilobe he came from Jim at Amazing Blue Reptiles and that is proof enough.

Wes,
I don't know man, it doesn't get anymore text book blue bar Ambilobe than this male. You could be just used to the red/blue mixed bar Ambilobes so something like this catches you as odd.

That guy is simply amazing so rest assured it will bring you a lot of joy and great looking babies. No red whatsoever in the bars which is very desirable, but then again, you can't expect any less from Jim Nozaki.

Thanks for the compliments Ivan and Matt. He may have taken a little longer to start to show his ambilobe colors but as you can see now he is showing them with full force and is improving everyday. I am really looking forward to what this guy will look like and produce in the future. As for not expecting anything less from Jim Nozaki, you sure said that right he has some of the most impressive aniamls out there and I couldnt have picked a better person to have purchased my ambilobes from. Thanks Jim your animals are exceptional.

He started getting his colors around 4.5 months of age but nothing spectacular. A little blue here and a little green there. It wasnt until he was 6-6.5 months old that his colors really started to come out.

I just use a hova-bator or a home made incubator for chameleon eggs. www.lllreptile.com has them.
