It's a pure breed male, These lizards are very common along the coastal port regions of Tropical West Africa. I have personally seen them in abundance in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria and Congo. In some areas I have seen them as big as 2ft., these ones were about 14 inches.

Sorry, I am not much of a snake person, the only ones that I see are the ones that fall in front of me, and yet to have seen a python in the wild.

Believe it or not. I caught one of these in Homestead FL. I have been searching for a week trying to find a picture of the same lizard I caught. The only thing is. Ever since I caught him he's been staying brown.
