I might be wrong because its such an uncommon breed yet old but is he a Cane Corso?

Yes he is a Cane Corso. He was actually imported from Italy. He's not an American Cane Corso(?).
Yes this is the reptile forum. We were talking about snake guard dogs. But thank you for the advice. No need to post idiotic comments.

My uncle has a fila. I went to a rare breed dog show with him here in Miami 2 yrs ago. I saw Cane corso but tho not familiar with them this one looked like a neo/corso mix it was huge and the head was neo like.
I know the real Corsos arent big like that.Here in America some breeders mix to get bigger which isnt needed.

He is from Italy so he is the smaller correct size of the breed. The Americans bred size into them.
Presas are simmilar in stature. There may be some relation way back, but I am not familliar enough to say.
