Keywords: burmese burm blue hatchling
Any one have any ideas why this little guy is blue in only one eye? He is a normal burm about 4 months old. doesn't appear to be shedding, rest of his body is still "shiny"
The last time he shed one of the eye caps didn't come off. Try placing a litle bit of cookin oil and try rubbing very soft on the eye cap. If it don't come off you might have to go the vet. Try to keep it a little bi tmore humid in his cage. PS pretty snake

its easyer and safer to wait for the next shed and it will come off.

Actually, I'ld go with Repti Gal on this one.
It's much safer to take it off now, than to wait. I would recomend a warm bath and then gently trying to peel it off.

I just got this little guy last Sunday and both eyes were clear, I noticed Friday night that his one eye was starting to look cloudy. I htought he was getting ready to shed, but there is no dulling and the other eye is still clear as of this afternoon.

Just try to remove it and if it dont come off just wait a liitle while like 3 or 4 days and he is still not in shed mode i would take him to the vet. Eye caps that dont come off can cause the snake to go blind.
