This is a snake not an earth worm. This I do believe is called the Blind snake, they live under rocks and other debres, mostly tunnelling trails under large rocks, thats where I have always found them.
I have only seen about 7 ever in my life time and when I first found one I thaught it was a worm until I saw the tiny forked tongue.
Reptiles Magazine had an article on them a while back, these are native to Florida.
These are actually very common. Look under rocks or rotting debris.

Thanks for the info, I was already corrected,
I just thaught they were native cause the first one I ever caught was about 24 years ago and that was about a mile west of the ocean , this one was caught about 25 miles from the ocean so I thaught with such a range especially where I live now it has only been inhabited for about 15 years and its like in the woods to swamp area,
I geuss they must be coming from plants imported from Asia, they are so small I couldn't imagine being able to find or see any eggs in the soil that comes with the plants.
Thanks again,
Nick
