Keywords: amel blood red yearling male 2003

Here is a partial belly shot. It has been said that there should be no black checkers on the belly of a blood red F2. I have several hets for blood red which show some black checkering. These are F1's which have the ability genetically to make F2's. The rather reddish het for blood red which look like they may be a blood red are sometimes called outbloods or an outcross. One of my most attractive snakes is het for blood red but has some dark checkering on the belly. Controversy seems to exist about this subject. When I get a chance I will post some more pics which may prove helpful. Thanks for your kind remark CORNSNAKEMASTER. Steve Jones/ El Paso

Oh, I wish I knew everything, but I know little instead. Yours: I looked very closely IMHO first of all I wish I had your corn... secondly, You are wise to listen to other's opinions: Your corn has the traditionaly orange red markings on the belly which means I would wager cash your corn is het for blood red. Secondly Still I wish I had your corn Handsome, pretty, animal. They tell me that once we have even a few darker checkerings on the belly, that it he/she is most probably an outcross or as good ole Don says an outblood. I like that term. It is not detrimental and a good description. I will have most probably some blood reds next season. Perhaps some amel, anery blood reds and some regular. You remind me ole hoss and if you pay the shipping I will send you a cb05 baby to raise. No Charge. (except shipping) What a good sport you are. I will post a few others for your enjoyment either tonight or a later date. It is tough to photograph by myself. Thanks bud Steve Jones El paso pig1626@netzero.net Hope you enjoy my pics for I enjoyed yours...
