is that sand? if it is you might want to switch to aspen or bark because I've herd sand is bad news for corn snakes.

hi there! maybe you are right, but what are the arguments? i think cornsnakes prefer moisture ~ 50% and sand is very easy to clean and replace! but next time i will take soil for the half of the ground! cya

I dont think cornsnakes prefer moisture, they live in a dry habitat in the wild and I was told when I fist got my corn to keep the tank dry but only to raise the moisture a little when the snake gets ready to shed. by the way that's a nice tank where did you get it?

I would recommend using aspen bedding as substrate, it works great, and my corn loves to burrow in it. But on the whole your enclosure is very nice.
