I found this scorpion close to Joshua Tree. I would like to know how toxic the venom is of this species, and how common it is.
On another note, how can you tell if the scorpion is male or female?
Hadrurus Arizonensis Pallidus, Pale desert hairy. The 'mask'is clear and distinct!

Pallidus doesn't seem to be as available as the regular Desert hairy. The sting will definitely get your attention but it's not one of the life threatening kind.
