u got a hide for that guy? and i dont think you need an heatlamp for calkings, just UTH is good. just my 2 cents

He hides in the bedding (it is Aspen shavings) and under that log in the corner. I only have the above light on for light...it doesn't really produce that much heat. The temps on that side are like 80-85. I put a container in there for feeding (he likes his privacy). About the only time I see him is for feeding, pictures and when there are strangers (he seems to really like kids). :-)

Nice looking snake and roomy tank might as well put in some climbing branches will use them. You might see him out more.
I put some branches reaching the top of the tank for my milksnake and he suprisingly uses them alot esp at night.
