He still looks like a Ambilobe to me.
There is a possiblity that he could be
a hybrid, but there is really no way to
know for sure. Maybe Chris Anderson will
respond, since he has been to Madagascar
and seen them in the wild. It will be
interesting to see how he develops.

Unfortunately, when I was in Ambilobe, we didn't see many this size so most of my exposure to ambilobes at this age has been from captive bred specimens. I think this animal is definately showing classic Ambilobe traits. I'm hesitant to say definitively that it is or isn't a hybrid but as it gets larger, it should be a lot clearer.

Thanks for the respond Chris. What's a hybrid? what's a classic Ambilobe? I though he was a bule bar Ambilobe. P.S. His color can also change to almost dark green with kindda black pattern. Thanks again.
