Crested Gecko Cage in progress

please tell me what kind of wood do you use because I am going to build a much larger enclosure for my corns and this my first time building and any help would be apreciated.

Thank you first of all for responding to my post. I have new pictures to post soon.

I am not the one who is building the enclosures, my friend's husband is getting into the business of custom building cages for reptiles. This particular cage was build out of partical board that we later painted. Only reason why we chose partical board was to save me money. However, is goal is to build with a higher quality of wood.
