I took one of my hatchlings (male 50% chance het ghost) to a local pet store today. It had taken me a while to get him feeding well and apparently they found some of their own in the mean time as they had about a dozen balls that had just come in. I liked this little girl so much I traded them mine and an extra $10 for her. I think they said they got them from Extreme Reptiles. She is 82 grams and a little thin and has some scarring but I figure must be cb this time of year (November). There was another post today about a pet store in MO having a hundred fresh hatchlings, did they get someone’s co-dominant siblings or what? Just seems odd to have so many wholesale hatchlings this time of year.

She has lots of blushing and an almost ghost head and a light tongue. Sure hope she makes it. Maybe I’ll know something about her by 2007 lol.

She ate a live hopper mouse! I hope it wasn't too big for her (it leaves a noticeable lump). She had loose skin folds in her sides in the last half and I know you want to start those skinny ones off slow.

Someone posted about looking through 1,500 ch (wild bred imports - from "captive hatched" eggs that are dug up) recently. If these really are 6 - 7 month olds (African eggs hatch in April and May) that have been starved to keep them near hatchling size I may not be out of the woods yet.
