very nice snake mate . I thought it was a Zebra cobra or what we used to know as a western barred spitter but the name that you posted confused me . nigricinctus ?? I am only familiar with N.nigricollis - black neck spitter , N. nigricollis woodi - black spitter and N. Nigricollis nigrincta - zebra cobra as these are the 3 that i encountered in S. africa . Is yours related to any of these , maybe from further north in Africa ?
