hi what size cage do u keep em in im thinking of getting some rats to breed at the mo i just breed mice thanks

I noticed you have what looks like colored dog food in the food bowl. This is fine for rats, but there have been some studies that indicate the colored dyes are bad for snakes who are constantly feeding on these rodents. Just something you may want to look into :) Mine eat mainly Target brand dog food (which by the way is like 5 dollars for 25 lbs), some seed, lab pellets, and occasional cat food for treats for the pregnant gals.

these rats are are in a 20g cage and are breeders. the food that is in there bowl is a mix of different foods. there is some dog food, lab chow, bread, meat, potatos and some other foods.
