Photo of me holding an enormous bald-faced hornet (Dolichovespula maculata) nest which is part of my own personal collection. This particular nest is 24 inches (2 feet) long!

Wow that thing is huge! Hives sure do not get that big here on Guam.

Actually, I have another nest which is LARGER than the one which is pictured here. My largest nest measures at least 3 feet tall!!!

I obtain these gigantic nests from all over the USA. I am an avid collector of these "masterpieces of nature".

By the way, I checked out your pics and I've noticed that you keep a colony of giant cave roaches. I think this is awesome! I also have a colony of giant cockroaches. In fact, I have TWO species of giant roaches living together in the same colony. The two species which I have are giant cave roaches (Blaberus giganteus) and giant peppered roaches (Archimandrita tesselata).
