Nope I came upon it that way. I live right near some Rice Fields in Sacramento. I don't know if loss of pigment is natural or if sun or water conditions from rice fields caused it. I like the texture and color variation between the bumpy white crab and the smooth swampy grass.

That is some messed up water, dude I aint ever eatin rice again cuz I wont know if that is where it came from:) lol I dont want to turn that color!!!
