I have a female ball python that is about 6 months. Is it hard to breed ball pythons and how old is the age when you should start breeding? I also would like to know this, I have a 33% pastel and my uncle has a normal ball if i breed them what would i get?

Hello,to answer your first question, you can breed female BP's at 18 months if thier weight is good,at least 1600 grams. These babies in the pic were from a 2 year old 1800 gram female! Not so sure about your 2nd question,though....33% Pastel? Pastel is a co-Dominant(Pastels are the "visable" Hets for Super Pastel) mutation,it's either a Pastel,or it isn't! When breeding normal to Pastel, theoretically you will get 1/2 Pastel and 1/2 normal babies that aren't het for anything.Hope this helps,
