Some guys prefer dessert first. :) I found these 'bugs' on a milkweed plant, while I was
hunting for aphids. Any idea what kind of bugs they are? They're living in Southern Ontario
Canada, if that helps any with the I.D.
Its a Red Milkweed Beetle (Tetraopes tetraophthalmus). If you pick one up and hold it, not letting it walk where it wants to, it will 'squeak' at you. They dont bite and they arnt poisonous or anything.

That's a good photo. Milkweed bug, don't get it confused with a Milkweed beetle, OK?

its definately a red milkweed beetle. if ur in doubt go to....
