looks cool but not much like a natural rock, u might try a product they sell at walmart and most hardware stores, its like a spray paint, that gives things the color and texture of rock, comes in several colors too.
this sends some very fun ideas thru my head, did u use the spray foam type or a plaster typle to do this? this would look cool on a larger scale for the soon to come monitor:)

Actually, Craig is on the right track with the "natural look", after the sand gets added to the "rock" it should look quite natural. I have not used the polyacrylic sealer on any of the "fake rock" I have ever done, just the grout sealer. I would imagine the poly would make for a good easy to clean surface. BTW...I would not recommend trying to use great stuff spray foam in a large sized enclosure unless you can get a good bulk discount or you have lots of $$$ to burn, the stuff is about $5-6 a can and I have used 1 can on a 20 gallon tank alone. Also the fleck paint referred to looks good but there are better (and cheaper) ways to get a "rock" look. Again, the spray paint is about $6-7 a can and doesn't go far. Nice job...post pics when you got the leos in the cage!

hey,
puting a rock wall around a cage might look cool, might not. It goes both ways. it might be just fun to do and see how it turns out! good luck.
I was also thinking of buying some Desert Horned Lizard (Phrynosoma platyrhinos platyrhinos) http://www.humboldt.edu/~rap1/Herps/Lizards/009.jpg and puting them in a cage much like this one, with ant mounds that have real ants coming out of them. man that would be nice. but I WILL NOT have ants in the house, running around so I will have to construct something to prevent any from escaping. I heard that if you take a battery and connect to copper wires around the outside of the cage, it will shock them and they wil drop. they would be shocked when both ends of the ants touch the negative and positve of the copper wire. im gonna need to test this out.
