This is my newt terrarium set up. Its right after i changed the water so its kinda cloudy cause my filter hasn't had the chance to clean up the mess i couldn't catch. that's my firebelly newt Isaac on the right. Does anyone have any ideas to improve this terrarium? Like adding moss, maybe plants?
Well i think it would be a good idea to add some plants, maybe in the water section. But i wanted to ask, i have 2 rough skinned newts but im having trouble feeding them bloodworms. Any advice on whats the easiest and best thing to feed them?

Are you feeding him freeze dried, frozen, or live? if you're trying freeze dried, i would really suggest trying to find somewhere that you can get live bloodworms. They're full of protein and great for your newt. If you can't get live the next best thing you can do is get frozen. In my experience Freeze dried food just doesn't work for reptiles and amphibians. Another thing i would like to add is, that this picture and set up is absolutely terrible. My terrarium is has really changed from when i took this picture
i really didn't know what i was doing when i first started buying and taking animals home
