Yes, Kiwi is a cutie!

I just got a baby budgie, an extremely yellow olive green recessive pied with no black spots--it's almost pure yellow, just a couple of faintly olive feathers on the bottom of his back and abdomen. I'd like to tame it. Its wings are clipped (came that way). So far, I've been talking calmly to it while it's in its cage. I offered it a bit of millet spray through the bars, but it didn't know what that was.

Any suggestions for taming?
