They do not require a lot of ventilation, in fact, the amount of air circulation that is created when you open their cage door is more than enough for them. Those vents are pretty big, and will do nothing but allow humidity to escape, and with glauerti, that is something that you do not want happening, especially with females..
I have found that glauerti, as well as all the other monitors that I keep and have kept, do much better in enclosures without vents, or ventilation. The most ventilation that I will give, are a few 1/8" holes drilled in the acrylic tops that I used for my glauerti and other odatria... too much ventilation is bad, and not needed. You mentioned that you are going to switch them to plastic... I would recommend you seal it up completely with some frp or tileboard..
