I'm surprised noones posted about this yet, you do know it's real dumb to house to snakes together let alone 2 different types of snakes. Give each there own cage don't do that because it looks cool, I wouldn't be surprised if your carpet python gets eaten.

I dont know if your aware of the fact that pythons in general do not eat other pythons. In fact some can inter breed. So u need to check your facts before you call someone dumb. Also my animals stay well fed. Retics are very smart snakes. The carpet wouldnt make much of a meal. He likes 4lb Rabbits the JCP is nowhere near that. Now if they were Kingsnakes I would have a problem.

I agree that you shouldn't keep two different kinds of snakes together. your retic may not eat your carpet python but it can still attack it and kill it. I saw on croc hunter diaries a male retic attack a female retic and it did some bad damage. you would be suprised what yours could do to your jcp. and yes it was unneccasary for him to call you dumb. its just to risky to keep them together.nice cage by the way:) go to my gallery and tell me what you think.

Thanx for the compliment ur cage looked nice too. Just so u know im 26 and have been studying snakes since i was 6 so trust me I know what im doing. Both are very docile animals handled daily. Croc hunters arent handled that much at all wich is why they are so aggresive. Mine are tame as puppys never bite anything exept Rats or Rabbits and those are P/k F/t so they dont even get aggresive then.

it doesn't matter if there tame or not, dogs are tame and can inter breed also, but dogs can fight and attack other dogs and in this case its like putting a pitbull and pug together. eventhough thats a bad example because dogs are way smarter and nicer compared to retics. but don't take that the wrong way cause i'm not trying to sound mean.:)
