Where did you get her? Are her parents very yellow? (How much was she?)

She is Very mellow, Takes pinkies right from your fingers. I got her from a friend who received her in a partial trade, and he doesn't deal with jungles, so he gave me such an insane price I couldn't refuse. She is supposed to be from VPI bloodlines, Only time will tell if she turns out nice and yellow and black. I do not know what her parents looked like. She is pretty clean and light. I thought While I wait for Repticulus to hatch out his this year I would get her, and see what happens, if she turns out nice I might use her in my breeding stock, if not I will just keep her as a pet.

How would you rate, rank VPI & Repticulus? What is so good about each one? I hear a lot about them in these forums. Also, what are some other top rated breeders?
How much do you think it would/should cost me for a baby male from a top notch breeder, which will yield a nice yellow snake?
(Thanks for replying.)

VPI is Dave and Tracy Barker, they have been around for a long time, They are the ones who wrote "Pythons of the World" Maybe you have seen it? Anyway Repticulus is known for producing Nice jungles, and he is also known for working with Jaguar Carpets, which The Hypo Jaguar is INSANE!! Its on his website, Both are very Good, I personally am waiting for Repticulus to have offspring available, Since he shows what adults he is working with, I can see what he bred what to, to get babies. There are a few more I have to think, But those two are pretty good breeders. I am expecting to pay between $200-$250 for babies, Juvies that have nice color starting to come in, Can go for as much as $300-$400. Have you been to Repticulus's website? He sold a couple a while ago that Are to me some really NICE jungles. They are down at the bottom of his "Available" Page.

Thanks for the info about VPI. Yeah, I first went to the Repticulus site yesterday and put my name down on the waiting list. I wonder if I am selected to get a nice hatchling if they will hold it for me, in case I haven't moved into my new place yet...?
I guess we'll see. I'm gonna go back onto Repticulus today and see more of the parent photos.
