Keywords: the surprise I could have never expected

I received this beauty out of a bag of forest floor bedding that I had purchased for our tree frogs. I never thought I'd own a snake, but how could I give this beautiful creature up? I would appreciate any and all advice concerning raising and careing for this baby as I am completely new to the world of snakes. I only want to do whats right and BEST for this wonderful creature. By the way We named it Ribbon.

Great looking Pueblan think sock head type. Thats an incredible stroke of luck. You bought the bedding took the bag home opened it up and the snake came out?
Was the bag sealed before? The milksnake forum here in kingsnake is the best the folks thee will give you instructions how to care for it.
I keep treefrogs to but no pueblans lol. The forset floor bedding you buy is it from ESU?
I use soil but want to try new substrate.
thanks

I'm not sure what ESU stands for but the bedding I purchased is packaged by Zoo Med it's 100% Natural Cypress Mulch... my frogs seem to love it and so does the snake, I have found out that the Petco where I purchased the bedding, did indeed lose a snake, guess it found a hole in the bag and made itself a home. We are enjoying our new addition to the family very much
