my dream is to build something like yours for my dwarf and some geckos...
could you shot me some pics... and maybe giveme some advice or plans to build it... how will you seal it to avoid humidity problems in your house..???

That is such a great idea, using house wrap to insulate. I would also install styrene or styrofoam in the middle as well. I built a cage with inner and outer walls for my burm and I WISH I would have insulated it. Nice job!

hard to say how much i am going to end up spending on this. yes its going in my basement. almost all the wood was free from jobsites i have worked at, the big money part was the ($200.) 4 x 8 1/4 inch thick sheet of plexi glass. should be finished in a week or 2. All it needs now is lifted up on wheels, drain hooked up, walls parged with concrete, hang lights and floor mats and a water monitor proof door. Ill take some pictures when i get the walls covered in concrete. Ill post a pic of what inside looks like as of now. And thanx for the good comments.
