is that a collared lizard? looks like some kind of fungus infection from possibly being on too damp of a substrate. have you taken him to a vet?? a vet can probably prescribe something to clear that up. best of luck with him .

No it isn't from wet substrate. He has been having it for several months. He has been on paper towels since about December except for the past week. The paper towels were changed either daily or every other day. Thanks for the thoughts on it though. What can I put on fungus? I'm still waiting for a call from my cousin.

better talk to a vet on that one, i'd hate to give you the wrong advice. hope your lizard gets better soon.
