Chuck is a bright playful boy that soaks up any attention you give him. He is a fast learner, loves to play with other dogs and children. He has a sweet disposition and will bring lots of love to his new family.



Hi, my name is Chuck. I am staying with Greg and Krissy Whittington, Emmitt and Phoebe at the their house near Lake Belton. We think I am about 18 months old and about 40lbs. I have been neutered, had my shots and I am heartworm negative. Despite the look on my face in the picture, I am quite the happy guy. Before my foster mommy and daddy took me to their house, I had been staying at the Temple Animal Shelter since February 1st. It is very nice as far as shelters go, but I much prefer a house and romping in the backyard. I love to play with Emmitt and Phoebe ( St. Bernard mix, and Tibetan Terrier mix), and most of time, they like to play with me. I am full of energy, and have been very good about pottying outside (we have a doggie door). Ryan (13) was home for Spring Break and I had a great time with him too. I fletch, sit, lay down, give lots of kisses, and learned my name in just a couple hours. I really am very bright.



We think I might be part German Wirehaired Pointer, Terrier and Australian Shepherd, but it’s only a guess. My hair is wirey, but soft. I am very unique!
