top and pond

This is wonderful! My husband and I have an unfinished basement and this is something like we have in mind--is that plaster over the mesh? Painted? how about the pond set up-do you have a drain? Thanx stefanie

i used concrete. Pond was from Lowes (100gal). Outdoor laytex paint waterd down to cover the concrete. (water thins the paint so it soaks into the concrete and wont flake off the walls.) There are more pictures of cage if you want to get idea on how it was finished. just click gutshotcs (see all gutshotcs photos) cut hole through pond and floor, used sink drain and 2inch pvc pipe to front of cage with a ball'n socket shutoff.
