Why the hell did you put a coke-can in your cage? don't you realize that the sharp sides of the hole could be harmfull to the animals?

Well... I put in the coke can just for fun in the beginning. It turned out that one of the geckoes Fancied it and made it it's teritory. She hid in it by day and laid her eggs on the backside. After a year the coke can started rusting so I changed it with a green fanta can but apparently that was not the same thing, the gecko in question wouldn't live in the new can so I took it out too.
The pic was taken shortly after I finished the tank.
After one year the plants covered the first 2 thirds of the "mountain", the rest always dried out.
Sometime during the second summer the "mountain dried out from the inside making lots of cavities within it.
Later that year I tore the "mountain down, after the plants took over the tank it got too difficult cleaning the glass.

I really like your setup, but that coke-can made me twist my eye-browns when I first saw it. By the way, try use an old milk-carton, for the gecko. I had succes with that, when one of my crested geckos were laying eggs.
