i covered the plywood floor with left over underlayment from when i did pergo floors in my house. then the pink stuff over that is left over scraps of house wrap, thats just to keep some heat and moisture in cage and off wood. will use peatmoss / multch for the ground cover

what kind of concrete did you use? I am trying to make some stuff to add to my snake cages. like something to hold branches up or like a hide or something and am interested in using cement. Would concrete on chicken wire work to make a base for a branch so the branch can be free standing not resting against the sides of the cage?
