My cat got in her tank when I turned to clean her water bowl. Geez people I'm not mistreating any of my animals. I sure don't see anyone else able to handle their Tokay so easily. She doesn't mind anything as long as I'm holding her, even letting the hated cat smell her without tensing up. She even rides on my shoulder leashless during my whole work shift; napping under my hair or watching everything.

So let me get this straight... you'll take your poor tokay out of its nice warm humid tank for a whole shift at work? With all the things going on and the noise... and thats good for her? If you can handle the tokay thats alright, its certainly not natural for them but its alright, however dressing it up as a bat is not ok. Oh and turning your back and thus letting the cat get in the tokay tank to take the tail off is really iresponsible, although not as irresponsible as then going on to let the cat sniff the tokay at a later date.

You have a right to your opinions. Storm is happy and that's all that matters to me. She's happy enough to have started breeding this year.

IF this tockay is stressed out from handling, maltreatment and The cat, then..
How come it looks healthy and it's tail is nice and plump? why are there no signs of dehydration?
The animal is neither fat nor thin and clings well to the wall even though it has a rather bulky costume on.
The pic does seem odd to me, but it also looks cute.
Provided the animal isn't dressed up frequently on all kinds of holidays I don't really see a problem with this pic.
Just my 2 cents.
