My custom made tank for my Tokay Gecko. 4ft long, 2ft wide, 3ft 6in tall. With a 40 gallon water filled tank in the middle.

Hi i was just wondering why you've got such a huge water pool in the tokay tank? I cant quite figure it out

I just thought it would look cool with some fish swimming in the water and it helps keep the tank humid.

hmmmm ok well make sure you keep a close eye on it because keep in mind that tokays cant swim and theres every oportunity he could fall in the water, and maybe not come out again. Also keep in mind that fish in the water will poop in there and also get extra fish food int he water, all of which the tokay might ingest if he chose to drink from it. Just keep an eye on it, because they dont generally have so much water in their enclosures, in fact thats the first time I've ever seen it... But good luck if you choose to keep it that way and hope it works out for you.

Thank you for your concern. Need not worry. I haven't had any problems with this set up before as I am a designer and have done many sm/med pet habitat applications. The pic is not the best though I do have soft edges for climbing out of the water. The water is very well conditioned and fillterd to meet the geckos drinking needs. Agean thank you for you concern.
