I read they are very hardy but the cold spells Florida has thou rare will kill them. Yet I heard they are all over Florida .
do you think its true they eat green treefrogs?

I can tell they eat a lot. I have been in contact with UF. They claim, and I believe it that the Cuban's eat native species. I also haven't noticed them that much since the winter freezes

Thanks. I actually like them but I know they are not particularly liked because they are LOUD lol.
My aunt has lots in her area (Miami) your right they seem to die back when cold spells.
