A baby blindsnake. Look at this cute little critter! It is a Brahminy Blindsnake, (Ramphotyphlops bramina) introduced here in South Florida from Asia. These show up every summer in our house, and we are glad to have them since they feed on termites and ant larvae.
This is a baby, and the adults reach a whopping 4 1/4 inches. They are also capable of asexual breeding. Kool, huh?
