if you have okay lighting the floating plants will reproduce well even window lighting they grow well.
They look like water sprite? The fish look happy in that roomy tank what size is it?
Nice looking blue male. The female is nice to but I am partial to the males fins.

Thanks! It's a 2.5 gallon tank. I love the males too, this is my third female, and my third attempt at breeding. So far so good, the fry are almost a week old and active and healthy looking. :-) It's a banana plant btw. Thanks for the comments! :-)

once the female layed her eggs you should remove her because shell eat the fry but every thing looks good nice clean water. good luck

Thanks! Yea I took the female out as soon as the eggs were laid. So far so good! They are nine days old and are active and healthy. and they just grew their anal fins!

Oh wow nice bannana plant around here they sell them kinda dead. Good luck with the fry.
