Keywords: need help i have a sick chubby frog on me
i need urgent help!!!wht is this?this was a whites mold looking thing a couple of days ago and he pealed off the mold and it looks like this now!i have know idea how it happpend.please help me.

Your photo is kind of blurry but if that redness is raw flesh and its not healing within a few days put him in a plastic bag and put him in the freezer or take him to the vet,which ever you perfer,if it was me I would do the freezer thing because I would not want him to suffer and most of the time that kind of injury is not curable so sorry about your frog and good luck.

Dont freeze him.That is a slow painfull death for the little guy.

If you feel like you need to kill him, the best way would be to rub ambesol over where his heart would be. It get's absorbed fast and is painless.

wow, before suggesting to kill the lil' guy... shouldn't a vet check be considered? he's prolly in pain, so i'd go to the vet as soon as possible... and see what they say. then if worse comes to worst... the ambesol idea sounds painless. =

Ambesol? First off, this just sounds painfull. How can a chemical absorbed through the skin act quick enough to humanely euthanize an animal?
The ONLY method to humanely put down your herptile pet is to take it to the vet for an overdose of anesthetic.
For this particular frog,it does look as if the skin has been torn off. Always be gentle when investigating a problem. Amphibians have amazing regenerative abilities and I'm sure with the proper veterinary care this frog would have survived.
