Oh ok, what lines is she?
A pup should be with it's mother until atleast 8 weeks of age i'd say minimum.
Did the mother not care for them or something?

Beautiful puppy.
No reputable breeder is going to put a puppy's health, temperament, and well being at risk by taking it from it's mother at 5 weeks old. Puppies not only need their mother's milk for immunities but puppies also learn things from their mother that will later make a difference in everything from housebreaking to interactions with people and other animals, something very important for this breed in particular.
In some states, it is illegal to sell a puppy under 8 week of age.

I also wanted to add that being registered does not make a dog breed quality. With the unreal amount of pit bulls that are being euthanized due to lack of good homes, it is up to breeders to only breed for the purpose of improving the breed and spay/neuter puppies produced that are not breed/show quality to prevent them from being contributors to the problem.

i completely understand what u r saying but since this animaal is not with the mom it is our duty,as humans to show what is expected from him or her.
i want to register my pit but i dont know if i can.he is a blue and i dont have a pedigree and his parents arent registerd either.can i still register him
I thought you said he came from a good breeder registered with the UKC ? I'm confused.

yes i did say that, because i got a email from ukc that the parents paper had not been approved yet,so to be safe i said his line was unknown, but as of two days ago everything got fix and his papers are going in.

he/she is cute and i think at 5 1/2 weeks is ok for pit puppies to leave mother they are big enough and should be eating regular puppie food by now and most likely the mother has been tryin to wing them for prolly at least a week already cause they are getting bigger and rougher and it hurts ;/ i know my puppies will be leavin at 6 weeks old they are due in 3 weeks i cant wait ;)
