BTW ive got a legal question.. is it in any way illegal for a police officer to hang around a corner and evesdrop on a group of kids without probable cause and then yell at someone when they unknowingly walk up to their group of friends and say "Hey theres a cop hiding behind the wall." cuz i just got yelled at for "impeding an investigation" :/ i was just stating the obvious because his fat gut was hanging wide out in the open around the corner.

Well first of all if you didn't "know" persay that he was doing an...uhh.."investigation" than,I would have to say No...secondly, i dont know what state you live in but all state laws are different, I live in florida so who knows. Chances are he was just being pissy. Sounds like he wanted the kids to start doing something wrong, and he was just mad that you ruined his chances of catching them!

Another question for ya...how can you call this thing harmless? Look at it!! It was eating something to size of an ashtray, and dripping its blood onto the driveway!!

I am going to have to disagree with Godkad on this one. That is an orb weaver...one of many varities. 100% completely harmless to humans. I play with them often. Linbarr...seriously....it.. is.. just.. a.. spider.. not godzilla. Quit being such a wuss.

eh.. i consider most orb weavers to be common garden spiders :/
i dont like to bore people with extreme detail the main point is its nothing rare or dangerous so :/ dont worry

Listen, I don't kill spiders on purspose...as a matter of fact when I was photographing the previous spider my dog killed it NOT ME! So relax spider boy..we don't all get off by playng with spiders...I am quite scared of the big ones, but with good reason! I just spent 4 days in the hospital from a brown recluse bite, and honestly I probably couldn't identify one if you paid me! So by sending you guys these pictures I'm simply taking inventory of all the different spiders in my house! So take a deep breath...and calm your self..its all going to be okay!

WOAH i dont think anyone was trying to be rude or defensive.. if you wanna kill the spider thats totally your thing. we were just letting you know that it is harmless so its one of the ones you dont have to worry about.
as far as i can think of there are only 4 different types of spiders in north america that are dangerously venemos (someone please add on if there are any i miss)

Oh, I know Linbarr, I was just messing. Until I moved to where I live now, I was pretty afraid of spiders myself. And Godkad is right, there are 4 venomous spiders in the US. And the two that live in AR are both safe to handle with care because neither will bite unless 'pressed'. Check out my photo of me handling a recluse.
