I'm not really a lizard person except for some monitors but it looks more like a species of swift than a skink to me. But I'm probably totally wrong so I've been no help. Sorry.

Could it be a many-lined skink? I'm not too sure either. Nice lizard though! :)

Its acutally a black lined plated lizard. I actually have one. He was mistaken for a yellow throated plated lizard at the pet shop.

Nice lizard. Don't believe the names in pet stores. If you ask why then hang around the hobby a bit longer. As for the photo in the zoo site, I'm sure the zoo knows what they are talking about. Something to consider though; Do you know what the exact difference between a black and a yellow skink is? If they are extremely similar you may have missed a subtle but distinct difference in the picture. I'm not a skink expert so I couldn't tell you nuth'n.
