found this little guy out side my place in Arizona. if any one knows what it is, I would really like to know. It is Mitallic Green with Gold Chrome stripes. Whole body looks Chrome.
That's a Plusiotis Gloriosa, also known as a Glorious Beetle. It's found from Texas to Arizona, but it's endangered and very rare. It's breeding cycles are still unknown. I can't tell if your specimen is living, but they eat juniper leaves and are attracted to UV light. Generally regarded as the most beautiful beetle found in north america. You're very lucky!
