It's a Wolf Spider. They're harmless, "accidental" invaders that are found inside on occasion. They don't build a web, but hunt by sight (similar to as a wolf does, hence the name). They're very skittish, shy, & overall harmless. They could bite.. but only if trapped, pinched, or mishandled. You have nothing to worry about, unless someone in your house is highly allergic to spider bites.
