Shelly ended up being a boy, so I renamed him shelbert. But he is doing well. I've had his nails and beak trimmed down and it looks much better. He is a super active turtle. He is constantly running around his indoor pen (due to winter) at full speed. The missing part of his shell is healing up fine. Theres not a whole lot of regrowth, but it is looking much better and healthier then it looked in the past. He should be ready to meet the rest of the boxie gang I keep this summer when they come out of hibernation.
