Tetraodon lineatus2

Here is Puffs, my Tetraodon lineatus. These fish are said to reach eighteen inches in length. I am currently testing this theory. At the time of the picture, Puffs is about a year old and about ten inches in length. This puffer is currently housed in a sixty gallon aquarium with no other inhabitants. The fresh water is kept at 78 degrees F, hard, alkaline with a pH of 8.5. Also, I perform weekly water changes of 40%. Puffs feeds on frozen silversides, frozen and freeze-dried krill, fresh jumbo shrimp, and, on occation, large gold snails and fiddler crabs.
