I would define "Racer Cannabilism" as a racer eating another racer. It doesn't look that way in the pic. See... the predator snake in the pic is maybe 15" tops, I bet it's smaller than that. The prey snake.... has no pattern. And since the prey snake is similar in size to the predator snake and the prey snake has no pattern. It can't be racer eating racer.
From just looking at the dorsal... I could guess ringneck snake, or worm snake, even maybe a queen snake.

Hi Mike ~ I can see where you may be misled by the photo, in this picture, there is an 6 inch Northern Black Racer eating another Black Racer sibling. Keep in mind that juvenile Black Racers have a disappearing pattern towards the second third of the body, to the tail. Check out the other picture I posted of the other babies and you can see how the pattern disappears. We don't have Worm snakes or Queen snakes here in Mass., but plenty of Northern Rings.
