Common name is "Brazilian red and white". The name changed recently from Lasiodora cristata to Nhandu chromatus.

Thanks I looked it up it . It said rather agressive hair kickers like yours is.
Must say very pretty though. Do you see him much or mostly hides?

To be honest, he's not all that bad. Hes a little on the aggressive side and has only kicked hairs once. Hes far better tempered than my Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens, which is weird to say the least. They kinda reversed roles I suppose. haha Its all up to the individual spider I suppose. Like my G. rosea, most are very docile, but mine is very edgy and will not allow me to handle it. It has even thrown up the threat display at me!!!! haha It all depends on the individual spider. But yes, most Nhandu chromatus are a little aggressive and like to kick hairs.
