My California Kingsnake has spent most of the 11 days that I've had him under his water dish. I put him in his new cage last night, and he went back to hiding under the water dish. When I came home this afternoon, he was actually out in the open.

I have a milk snake who loves to burrow to; I hardly ever see him, except on a few occasions when i manage to catch him basking or testing the lid. Although usually when he sees me he goes and hides, he's still only a month old and a still a little scared.
