its paper towel. :) you have to use it when they're that small. their digestive tracks are tiny and ANY substrate they injest can impact them... and they die. with papertowels you dont have that risk :). you should always keep hatchlings on newspaper or papertowel. once they're bigger, move them to sand :)

yea ur right. i used calcium sand with my yunglings tho and i didnt have any trouble but maby i jest got lucky :p
