American Alligator Tank 3

I have an old 55 gallon aquarium im no longer using for my smaller burmese,how long could i keep a gator or caiman in it if i get it when it is very young and small?how fast do both caimans and alligators grow?

You could probably keep an alligator in a 55 gallon for alittle over a year. After that it would become a tight fit because alligators atleast double in size if fed right within the first year and grow at that rapid pace for the next 5-6 years after that. Don't buy unless you know how to keep care of it after you got it.
